A number of scholarships are available annually to learners of exceptional academic ability who are preparing to enter Grade 8. Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of the executive head, following scholarship tests.
In order to qualify for a scholarship, candidates must first pass entrance tests in English and Mathematics.
Grantleigh offers cultural scholarships. The minimum requirement for such a scholarship is for the learner to have passed Grade III theory and practical exams for a musical instrument.
One or more sports scholarships may be awarded to learners who have passed their entrance examination and have performed well at provincial level in a major school sport (i.e. tennis, swimming, hockey, netball).
