ALL OUR ACHIEVERS AT CURRO HCA

Curro HCA learner - Emmanuella Ambrosio.
Emmanuella’s dream to compete with the best was surely becoming a reality, at the World Biathle and Triathle Champs, which were held in Sarasota in Florida USA on the 21-23 October.
At the champs she ran 3 races. She was placed 6th in a relay Triathle race, 11th in the YD girls Triathle race and 7th in her YD Biathle race. As a school we are immensely proud of what Emmanuella has accomplished. We want to congratulate her and wish her all the best for her future endeavors.

 

 

Curro Hillcrest learners - competed in Prague at the Global World Scholarship.

Judah Milne, Chad Millard, ( teacher - Helet de Wet ), Hannah Savides

Curro Hillcrest achieved the following results:

  • Placed 14th in the overall competition
  • Ranked #1 in Africa
  • Hannah Savides won runner up for best individual scholar in Africa
  • Chad Millard was in the top-20 across all subject areas

Judah Milne placed 5th  overall for the literature division.

 

Curro Hillcrest hosted their first Dale Carnegie Course with 26 participants from Hillcrest High, TMC, St. Mary’s in the third term for the first time ever.

One of the Curro Hillcrest learners; Lennox Mzimela walked away with the “Highest award for Achievement” award.

 

 

Curro HCA learner - Menzi Mhlungu has been blazing the trail on all sports fields.

He has represented KZN for Hockey, Soccer and Swimming. 

Menzi is also our Head boy for this year.
