1. Will Curro College Hazeldean be registered?

Curro College Hazeldean is already registered with the GDE. By law, all independent schools must register with their local provincial educational departments. All our schools are registered or are in the process of being registered. All independent schools must also be accredited by Umalusi, the Council for Quality Assurance in General and Further Education and Training.


2. What is the language medium of the school?

Parallel medium (Afrikaans and English learners in separate classes) from Grade 8 to Grade 9, and dual medium from Grade 10 to Grade 12.


3. Which grades do you accommodate?

Curro's model allows for early childhood development centres for toddlers and childrenfrom 2 years old to learners in Grade 12. Curro College Hazeldean will cater for learners from Grade 8 to Grade 12.

5. Do you offer school sport?

6. Which matric examination do you write?

Matric learners at Curro independent schools write the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) exam.


7. Do you have a financial scale for fees for more than one child?

We do not have a fixed scale, but individual needs can be negotiated with the Head of Finance.
